Mitsubishi Estate has been advancing the Dogenzaka 2-chome South District Category I Urban Redevelopment Project in Dogenzaka 2-chome, Shibuya-ku, as a participating member together with rights holders including Shin-Daiso Special Purpose Company. Above-ground demolition of the existing buildings was carried out from February to December 2023, and underground demolition and new construction started on January 16, 2024. Completion is scheduled for the end of February 2027.
Project features: a large-scale mixed-use redevelopment of offices, retail and a hotel directly connected to Keio Inokashira Line Shibuya Station / Strengthening continuous liveliness through plazas and shops along Dogenzaka / A plaza and greenway at the connection with the adjacent Shibuya Mark City as a hub for community exchange / A hotel that will attract a diverse range of visitors to the Shibuya area
