Shibuya Sakura Stage, redeveloped in Sakuragaoka-cho, Shibuya-ku, was completed on November 30, 2023 (Reiwa 5) and has been opening in stages. The north-side free passage and the south passage at the south exit of Shibuya Station, which connect to Shibuya Sakura Stage, have also been open to pedestrians since December 1, 2023.
By crossing the passages, people can now move between the Shibuya Sakura Stage (Sakuragaoka-cho side) and Shibuya Stream (Shibuya 3-chome side) above the JR tracks.
